In Corsair Cove, gathering materials and resources is an important part of progressing through the game. One such essential crafting resource that you will need is rope. It plays a key role in shipbuilding and several production chains. Unlike other materials that can simply be collected from the environment, rope must be manufactured using specific production buildings.

In this detailed guide, we will explain how to get rope in the title, including the complete production process and the best way to increase its output.

As mentioned earlier, rope is an important resource used primarily for shipbuilding. To produce it, you need to set up a Rope Maker, which converts Fibre into Rope. Before that, you first need a steady supply of Fibre. This is collected by placing a Leafcutter on a Fibre Deposit.

Follow these steps to start producing rope:

    • Locate a Fibre Deposit on the map.
    • Place a Leafcutter directly on the deposit to begin gathering Fibre.
    • Build a Rope Maker close to the Leafcutter so workers can transport Fibre efficiently.
    • Assign workers to both buildings and ensure they are operating normally.
    • Once Fibre reaches the Rope Maker, it will automatically begin producing rope.

After production begins, make sure you have enough storage capacity. Warehouses and efficient transportation routes prevent production from stopping due to a lack of storage space.

How to get more Rope in Corsair Cove

If you want to increase Rope production in Corsair Cove, the most important factor is your production layout. The ideal setup is to build your Leafcutter, Rope Maker, and Warehouse close to one another. Since Fibre Deposits are commonly found near Pier locations, setting up your production chain in that area reduces the distance workers need to travel. A simple production chain looks like this:

Fibre Deposit -> Leafcutter -> Rope Maker -> Warehouse

Moreover, keep an eye on your production buildings to identify bottlenecks.

    • If Fibre is piling up inside the Leafcutter, improve transportation.
    • If the Rope Maker frequently runs out of Fibre, assign more workers or move it closer to the Leafcutter.
    • If finished rope is not being collected quickly enough, increase your storage capacity or improve delivery routes.

Optimising these production chains is the easiest way to keep a steady supply of rope throughout the game.

Where to find Fibre Deposits in Corsair Cove

Fibre Deposits are commonly found near Pier locations, particularly along the coastline. These areas should be your first choice when searching for new deposits. An easy way to locate them is by selecting the Leafcutter from the construction menu.

Since the building can only be placed on a valid Fibre Deposit, the placement preview makes it much easier to identify suitable locations. If you cannot find a deposit near your current Pier in Corsair Cove, explore other coastal areas or construct another Pier to search for additional Fibre Deposits.

Once you establish a reliable Fibre supply and an efficient production chain, your Rope stockpile will always remain full.
