    Nikki Bella does not want to wrestle after WWE SummerSlam’s events

    After the events of WWE SummerSlam, Nikki Bella is considering not wrestling for a while.

    At SummerSlam, The Bella Twins and Paige went up against The Fatal Influence. As expected, the match was tough. Nikki, Brie and Paige appeared to be holding their own for quite some time, but they were ultimately thwarted by their opponents. Post-match, Nikki Bella and Brie Bella turned on Paige, beating her up.

    Unfortunately, Brie Bella suffered an injury in the match. Afterwards, Nikki stated on Nikki and Brie YouTube channel that she did not want to wrestle for now without Brie at her side.

    “I don’t want to do it alone. A part of me feels like I just need to stay back with you and just wait for us to come back in together… It’s already been a one and a one. I just don’t want to do this again without you.”

    Brie Bella talked about her injury during her match at WWE SummerSlam

    Brie Bella apparently elected to continue with the match despite her injury at WWE SummerSlam.

    Speaking in the same video, Brie explained how she wanted to push through for her sister. She said that even officials were considering calling the match to end, but she ignored her pain to get her sister the chance for a hot tag:

    “When you broke your ankle, you continued the match, and then I broke my shoulder. It’s so funny because you and I, I don’t know if it’s because we’re people pleasers, but the whole time in my head, I’m like, ‘No, I’ve got to stay in so Nikki can get the hot tag.’ They were telling me, ‘Stay down,’ or they were thinking about calling the match. And I’m like, ‘No, no, no.’ Even though I was in crazy pain, all I could think about was, ‘Nikki’s got to hit that comeback,’” she claimed.

    As of now, Brie Bella is not likely to be back in action anytime soon. It remains to be seen what Nikki does in the meantime in WWE.
