The influencer made the claim last year in the June 18 episode of her “Honestly Cavallari” podcast. Two months later, the former Chicago Bears quarterback dismissed the allegations. However, the divorce controversy reignited recently. On the “Aspire with Emma” podcast on Tuesday, Cavallari doubled down on her alimony claims.

“I don’t get any money from my ex-husband,” she said (Timestamp: 40:37). “I had to give him half the value of (her business) Uncommon James in cash and properties and everything else. Isn’t that interesting?
“I was really pissed at the time, and now I’m so thankful because I think, for me, I’ve needed these things in my life to keep going.”
Cavallari emphasized that it was the success of her business, Uncommon James, that gave her the “confidence to leave my marriage.” The couple shared three children and, after their divorce, agreed upon joint custody. According to the agreement, both parents get 182.5 days in a year to spend with their kids.
Jay Cutler shared hot take on alimony controversy with ex-wife Kristin Cavallari
Jay Cutler discussed Kristin Cavallari’s allegations on the “Take it Outside” podcast in August. According to the retired NFL quarterback, the couple filed for divorce in a Tennessee court and “logically,” no judge would have allowed zero alimony to a mother of three kids.
“Let’s think about this logically. ‘Not a penny,’ OK. Married for, I don’t know, seven years or so, three kids. You can go and see how much I made in the NFL. It’s online,” Cutler said.
“You can see the contract from year to year and the total amount at the end of 12 years. So, you go to divorce, and each side gets a lawyer, and then you go to court, and there’s a judge.”
The same month, Cutler was jailed after he pleaded guilty to DUI charges. He was arrested for the felony in October 2024 and later received a well-wishing message from Cavallari for the issue.
