ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs is a brand-new simulator title where you own a small electronics repair shop in Japan. You receive all kinds of customers with different electronics that you need to open, clean, and fix. Additionally, you will have to pay for rent and internet bills with the money you earn, and also purchase spare parts to help with your repairs.

Here are some beginner tips for ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs to help you progress through the game more smoothly.

5 beginner tips for ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs

    1) Notepad will be your biggest friend

When repairing any device, you will have a notepad in which most information about the device and the repair process details will be visible. Hence, the notepad will be your best friend in ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs.

If you are unable to dismantle or rebuild a device, just check your notepad for the steps you have to take to finish the repair. The notepad will also show which component needs to be cleaned, or which one is faulty.

    2) Focus on upgrading the screwdriver

Since ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs is a repair simulator game, the screwdriver will be your best friend. Hence, you should prioritize upgrading the tool before anything else. The screwdriver will only have two upgrades, with the second one making it easier to manage screws, making your repairs much faster.

The first upgrade (Rachet Screwdriver) might look expensive at first, but it will be worth the upgrade since you will be using the tool in every single order.

    3) Purchase a tip jar

There will be loads of decoration and utility items to purchase from the Home Depot website in ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs. One of the items you should prioritize purchasing is a tip jar. This jar will hang on the left side of your store. With almost every successful repair, you’ll get tips from both walk-up and online orders. Each job will reward you with an extra ¥200 – ¥500.

    4) Organize when dismantling a device

At first, you will get simpler products to repair, like an old Nokia (named Pokia in the game) and a small iPod-like device. However, after a certain point, you will receive more complex devices with loads of parts. Hence, you must always organize the parts that you are dismantling.

You can group items on your table based on which layer of the device they belong to. For example, the outermost layer parts can be clubbed together at the top of the table, then more internal parts on the right or left-hand side of the table.

You can also separate the dirty parts on one side, so that you don’t need to look at your notepad to learn which parts need cleaning.

    5) Purchase a shredder to not waste junk parts

Once you move forward in ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs, you will have ample money to purchase an Eternal Shredder. In the beginning, broken parts usually go straight into the trash. Once you purchase a shredder for ¥180,000, you will be able to recycle the broken parts to get around ¥200 – ¥500 yen per part. This will massively boost the efficiency of the store, allowing you to earn more for fresh parts and licenses.
