The agreement has been signed for two contiguous sections – Lot 1 and Lot 5 – of a 500 kV Overhead Transmission Line, a statement said.

The combined order falls under the ultra-mega category, valued at over Rs 400 crore, and forms part of a flagship national grid reinforcement programme aimed at strengthening Egypt’s high voltage transmission backbone and enabling reliable power evacuation to support the country’s growing economic and industrial demand.

It builds on the company’s growing MENA presence, including its 50:50 joint venture with the Al Sharif Group in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the recently launched subsidiary in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Ganesh said.
