WWE has finally announced the date and venue for Survivor Series: WarGames 2026. The Thanksgiving PLE is slated to be held on November 28 at Daikin Park, home of the Major League Baseball’s Houston Astros. The global juggernaut also teased the return of a former world champion in its video package for the PLE aired on tonight’s edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Drew McIntyre hasn’t been seen in WWE since his loss to Jacob Fatu in an Unsanctioned Match at WrestleMania 42 in April. The feud between The Samoan Werewolf and The Scottish Psychopath started after Fatu’s return to the promotion earlier this year. He blamed McIntyre for injuring him backstage late last year, owing to which the 34-year-old had been ruled out of television for a few months.

Upon his return, The Samoan Werewolf first cost Cody Rhodes the Undisputed WWE Championship during the Three Stages of Hell Match on the blue brand on February 9, and then cost McIntyre the same title when the latter was defending it against The American Nightmare on the March 3 episode of SmackDown, kicking off a heated feud.

The video package for the Thanksgiving premium live event was played during tonight’s broadcast of SNME. Curiously, it featured Drew McIntyre among several other top stars of the promotion. This could be a hint that The Scottish Warrior could return to the promotion soon and will be a part of this year’s Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event.

You can check out the video package below:

The video package also showed several other top stars from the company. World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns was featured, as was the Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk, along with Cody Rhodes, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, IYO SKY, among others.

For now, only time will tell if Drew McIntyre returns to the promotion anytime soon
