Indian teams S8UL and Apex Gaming couldn’t play well in the Free Fire World Cup 2026 Grand Finals, held on July 18, 2026. As a result, both squads ended up in the bottom two. They faced tough challenges throughout their seven matches in the Grand Finals after seeing a magnificent run in the Survival Stage; however, they failed to retain their momentum in the ultimate stage.
LYON from Mexico came out victorious in the Free Fire World Cup 2026 after performing outstandingly in the Grand Finals. The club earned $300,000 in prize money along with a spot in the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2026 Global Finals.

In the third and fourth games, S8UL earned seven and nine points, respectively. The Indian lineup looked impressive in the fifth game, adding 16 points to its tally. In its last two matches, the squad collected seven and five points, respectively.
Team Apex Gaming had a brilliant run in the Survival Stage of the Free Fire World Cup 2026, coming second in that phase’s overall standings. But the lineup stumbled in the finale and ended up in the last spot with only 41 points, including 19 kills.
Team Apex Gaming acquired six points in the first game of the finale but failed to score any points in the second match. The club achieved 12 points in third game and nine points in the fourth.
In the fifth and sixth matches, Apex obtained only one and two points, respectively. The roster accumulated 11 points in the last game of the Fee Fire World Cup 2026.
A total of three Indian teams participated in the World Cup 2026. After seven years, India was represented at an international tournament tied to Free Fire. Total Gaming Esports was eliminated from the event during the Survival Stage.
S8UL, Apex, and Total Gaming received cash prizes of $18,000, $14,000, and $4,500, respectively.
