Zane Barnhart is a right-handed minor league baseball relief pitcher. The Detroit Tigers acquired the pitcher from the Baltimore Orioles on Thursday. The trade sent catcher Jake Rogers to Baltimore.
Barnhart was born on May 30, 2002, in Towson, Maryland. He is in a relationship with Mackenzie Snyder. They have been together since at least early 2025.
Mackenzie was born in July 2021. She marked her recent birthday celebration with a single-snap Instagram post on July 11.

Snyder attended Patterson Mill Middle High School in Bel Air South, Maryland, graduating in May 2023. After high school, she attended Towson University.

Zane Barnhart was born to Ron and Deanna Barnhart. His parents were a strong support system for him despite a highly transient lifestyle during his early childhood. He was born in Towson, Maryland, while his parents were traveling.
The family briefly lived in Eastern Pennsylvania before the family relocated to Arizona when Barnhart was six months old. They eventually settled down permanently in Granger Township, Ohio, when he was four years old.

Minor league career of Zane Barnhart
The Baltimore Orioles selected Zane Barnhart in the 17th round of the 2023 MLB Draft out of Hillsdale College. He debuted briefly in the Florida Complex League before moving to Low-A Delmarva.
Barnhart posted a 2.84 ERA across 6.1 innings with 11 strikeouts at Low-A. He spent most of his first full professional year in 2024 with High-A Aberdeen, excelling in over 30 relief appearances. He logged a 2.47 ERA and struck out 44 batters over 43.2 innings.
Before his trade to the Detroit Tigers, Barnhart spent the 2026 season playing for the Double-A Chesapeake Baysox.He served as a primary late-inning relief option. He went 2-3 with a 4.05 ERA, a 1.18 WHIP, and 45 strikeouts over 40 innings in 31 games with the Baysox.
