American comedian and social media personality Charleston White has confirmed that he was shot at in Houston, Texas. On July 21, 2026, reports surfaced on X, suggesting that White had been shot while visiting the Fifth Ward in Houston.
X user @SaycheeseDGTL provided details about the situation, writing:
“Charleston White was just shot at in Houston, Texas 5th Ward neighborhood moments ago. He was there hanging out for 3 hours when some guys pulled up & asked him to apologize for some things he said in the past. (He wasn’t injured)”
On the same day, White’s official clip account, @charlestonwhyt, posted a four-minute-47-second video from his YouTube livestream titled, Charleston White Shot At By Rap-A lot Mobties In Houston at Dr. Candice Matthew B-Day Celebration.
In the video, the 49-year-old confirmed that he had been shot while visiting the Fifth Ward, where, according to him, 30 people were present at the scene.
He elaborated:
“I went to Fifth Ward by myself, and the ****** wouldn’t even take a plane to get me. Not only did they shoot at the car, they called 30 ******. Mob time! Mob time! Them ****** showed up 30 deep, and all they wanted to was to plead with me. To apologize to J Prince. J Prince, **** your momma, *****! Do you hear me? James Sr., you sent your ***** hit squad; y’all had the chance to get me!”
Charleston White says he will be contacting the FBI after being shot at in Houston, Texas
In the same video shared by X user @charlestonwhyt, Charleston White stated that he planned to contact the FBI after being shot in Houston’s Fifth Ward. While describing himself as the ‘baddest person on the internet’ in the aftermath of the situation, White stated:
“I said, ‘**** J Prince,’ and had the nerve to walk back in the Fifth Ward neighborhood by myself with no police protection. I’ve got to be the baddest ***** on the internet. We’ll be calling the FBI in the morning to file a report. Why? Because James Prince sent a representative. So I’ll be going down to the FBI, the FBI office in the morning, to put this in documentation because we know he had a take-off kill. We know he had a take-off kill for illegal gambling, and I got the information on the illegal gambling and the take-off case!”
