    Dates, teams, prize pool, and format

    The Honor of Kings World Cup 2026 will be played from July 30 to August 8, 2026, in Paris, France. The best 20 teams from around the globe will compete in the event for a huge prize pool of $3 million. Defending champion All Gamers International from China has received an invite to the World Cup. The event will be conducted in three stages: Play-Ins, Group Stage, and Playoffs.

    Eight teams, divided into two groups, will compete in the Play-Ins on July 30 and 31. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Group Stage. The remaining teams will be eliminated from the World Cup. 12 teams from the regional events and the four teams from the Play-Ins will fight in the Group Stage from August 1 to 4 for eight spots in the Playoffs.

    Eight teams will battle in the Single Elimination Bracket in the Playoffs from August 5 to 8. All matches will be conducted using the best-of-seven (Bo7) format, except the third-placed match, which will employ the Bo5 format. The event is a part of the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026, which features 25 titles.

    Kuishou Gaming from China won the King Pro League 2026 Spring earlier this year and qualified for the Honor of Kings World Cup. The squad will be one of the top contenders for the title this year.

    For the first time, two Indian teams have been invited to the Honor of Kings World Cup 2026: Revenant XSpark won the India Qualifiers and received a direct spot in the Group Stage, and S8UL, runner-up in the Qualifiers, got a spot in the Play-Ins.

    Team Vitality, Nemesis, and OG Esports were the top three teams in the Indonesia Kings Laga 2026 Spring. Geekay and ROC played well in the Malaysia Kings League 2026 Spring and qualified for the Honor of Kings World Cup 2026.

    BOOM, Titan Esports, and Blacklist were the top three teams of the Philippines Kings League 2026 Spring. MIBR LOS and Influence Rage secured their spots in the top two in the Honor of Kings Brazil Championship Fall 2026.
