Volvo is already calling it a game-changing electric SUV. The new 2027 EX60 now has an EPA-estimated driving range of up to 330 miles, making it the longest-range EV Volvo offers.

Volvo EX60 arrives with up to 330 miles of EV range

After delivering the first EX60 models to customers in Sweden last week, Volvo is ramping up production and deliveries over the coming weeks and months.

With deliveries expected to begin in the US any day now, Volvo announced the 2027 EX60 P10 AWD received an official EPA certification with an estimated driving range of up to 330 miles on a single charge.

The official rating beats Volvo’s estimated range of up to 322 miles. Other variants, including the EX60 P6, have an EPA-estimated driving range of up to 307 miles.

When equipped with the 22″ tires, the EX60’s range drops to 312 miles in the P10 AWD model and 295 miles for the P6.

Volvo opened orders for the 2027 EX60 in May, starting at $58,400. The EX60 P10 AWD starts at $60,750.

As the first vehicle based on its SPA3 platform, Volvo calls the EX60 a “game-changing SUV” with impressive range, ultra-fast charging, and superior performance — at a competitive price.

The platform features an 800-volt electrical system, enabling it to add 165 miles of range in just 10 minutes, or about the time it takes to grab a cup of coffee. That’s for the P10 AWD version with a peak charging rate of 370 kW. The base P6 can add up to 155 miles in 16 minutes at up to 320 kW.

Volvo’s midsize electric SUV is also the first with a built-in NACS charge port, enabling drivers to access over 29,000 Tesla Superchargers without an adapter.

Both the P6 and P10 are available in Plus or Ultra grades. The lowest-priced EX60 P6 Plus comes with a 15″ OLED central touchscreen with Google Built-In and Gemini AI Assistant, Pilot Assist, a 21-speaker premium Bose sound system, and Volvo’s Safe Space suite of safety features.

Upgrading to the Ultra grade adds new features and other extras, including unique badging, ventilated Nappa leather, a 28-speaker Bowers & Wilkins premium sound system, a dimmable panoramic roof, and heated rear seats.

Volvo said the range-topping EX60 P12 AWD will go on sale later this year, offering an estimated range of up to 400 miles.

    Measuring 189.1″ in length, 81.4″ in width, and 64.4″ in height, with a wheelbase of 116.9″, the EX60 is about the size of a Tesla Model Y (188.8″ x L, 83.8″ x W, 63.4″ H).

Starting at about $60,000, Volvo’s new midsize electric SUV is cheaper than most of the competition, including the 2026 Genesis Electrified GV70 ($64,380), the Porsche Macan Electric ($80,300), the Audi Q6 e-tron ($63,800), the Rivian R1S ($76,990), and the Mercedes EQS ($89,950).

On Volvo’s website, the 2027 EX60 P6 Plus is listed for lease from $599 a month (36 months) with $6,489 due at signing.
