    Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski took the social media spotlight during their recent game against the New York Mets. In the first inning, he struck out outfielder Juan Soto on four consecutive fastballs.

    This is Misiorowski’s first start in 13 days after throwing 11 strikeouts against the St. Louis Cardinals earlier this month. He was scratched from the lineup against the Pittsburgh Pirates on July 12 due to arm fatigue. The team wanted to give him some time off to manage his heavy workload in the first half of the season

    “I feel normal. I feel good. The rest was 100 percent good. I feel ready,” Jacob Misiorowski said ahead of game against Mets.

    Before the game against the NY Mets, Misiorowski challenged former teammate Freddy Peralta. While he said he “loves” the 30-year-old, he’s still looking forward to “kick his b***” during their game. “That will be fun,” the Brewers ace said.

    Ahead of the Milwaukee Brewers vs. New York Mets game, Jacob Misiorowski talked about how excited he is to face Freddy Peralta as an opponent. He praised Peralta as “an awesome guy” and noted that he wants the best for him in New York.

    “My favorite thing about Freddy was how kind and caring he was about everyone. It didn’t matter if you were a guy who showed up yesterday, he was still going to be your friend,” Jacob Misiorowski said.

    For Monday’s game, the Brewers initially planned Brandon Sproat to face Peralta, but later shifted and added Misiorowski into the start. Misiorowski revealed that the team has “mapped out” his schedule pretty well for the remainder of the season, but since situations can be unpredictable, “we’ll be ready” to embrace it.
