The new contract, awarded in less than 12 months of the previous order, will be executed in the Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. Under it, Suzlon will supply 127 units of its S144 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW.

Suzlon will provide end-to-end EPC services for the project, including land acquisition, turbine supply, Balance of Plant (BoP), Pooling Substation (PSS), Extra High Voltage Line (EHV), commissioning, and operations and maintenance.
This is the fourth order Suzlon has received from TPREL. With this contract, Suzlon’s orderbook in Andhra Pradesh now stands close to 1 GW. The company currently has an installed base of 1.8 GW in the state, which accounts for 28.44% of its total installed base in South India.
The order is part of Suzlon’s newly launched DevCo business model, through which the company says it is advancing its Suzlon 2.0 strategy.

Suzlon has a total wind energy capacity of 21.7 GW installed across 17 countries and reported revenues of over USD 1.75 billion for FY26. Its market capitalisation stood at over USD 7.5 billion as of June 1, 2026.
