Rhea Ripley has been sidelined from WWE since suffering a knee injury at Clash in Italy, but it seems that she has still been keeping up with the show.

The Women’s Champion recently sent a message to fellow Aussie Grayson Waller following his recent return to NXT, where he was able to cut an impressive promo. Waller called out several stars who had been part of his career as part of the promo, after seemingly being lost among the shuffle since The New Day walked away from WWE.

Ripley shared the following message to Waller following his promo.

It’s clear from the emojis that Ripley agrees with the comments that Waller has made. The two stars have been close friends throughout their careers, since they’re both from Australia.

It’s hoped that this will now allow Waller to find his feet in WWE once again after he has struggled to find a place on the card. Waller was aligned with Austin Theory for a while, as well as The New Day, but it seems that neither worked out for him.

Rhea Ripley will miss WWE SummerSlam

Rhea Ripley is set to miss SummerSlam after her recent knee injury, and it seems that despite the time that she is expected to remain away from the company, there are no plans to strip her of the title.

Ripley remains the WWE Women’s Champion and defended her title at Clash in Italy before she was injured, but it seems that WWE has decided to crown an Interim champion in her absence.

It will be interesting to see which woman is able to walk out of SummerSlam with the new title, since there is speculation that WWE is backing Chelsea Green. At present, it is unclear when Rhea Ripley will be able to make her return, since it seems that her injury was much worse than originally feared.

WWE has faced some backlash due to Rhea Ripley’s injury since it has meant that she has been unable to defend her title, something that has been echoed on RAW with Liv Morgan following Stephanie Vaquer’s injury.
