Danica Patrick recently revisited a short clip of actor Jim Carrey delivering his famous impression of actor Matthew McConaughey.
Patrick has remained very active on social media since stepping away from full-time racing. She has about one million Instagram followers. The former NASCAR Cup Series driver reposted a clip from a 2014 SNL sketch on her Instagram story. In the video, Carrey copied McConaughey’s slow drawl and signature expressions.

Patrick is one of the most successful women in American motorsports. In 2008, she became the first woman to win an IndyCar Series race after taking victory at the Indy Japan 300. After moving to stock cars, Patrick joined Stewart-Haas Racing in the No. 10 Chevrolet to become the first woman to win the pole position for the Daytona 500 in 2013.
She made 191 Cup Series starts and retired from full-time racing after 2017. Her final NASCAR starts came at the Daytona International Speedway for the Daytona 500 in 2018, when she also competed at the Indianapolis 500.

Danica Patrick also recently documented her European beach vacation on Instagram. She shared photos from Greece and visited beaches in Mykonos and Ibiza, and joked that reaching the beaches was “half the fun” and said the trip had become a yearly summer tradition.
“We saw so many beautiful beaches… but the modes of transportation it took to get there was half the fun😜!!!!! 🛥️ 🚌 🛩️🚤🚁🏄🏻♂️” she captioned the post.
Patrick’s pictures show her travelling with friends by boat, helicopter, plane, and bus.

Patrick now works across broadcasting, business, and digital media. She hosts the Pretty Intense podcast, where she interviews athletes, entrepreneurs, doctors, and business personalities. The 45-year-old also owns Somnium Wine, a premium Napa Valley vineyard and wine brand that she launched after retiring from racing.
Patrick also worked as an F1 analyst for Sky Sports betweeen 2021-25. She appeared on selected race weekends, mainly during North American Grands Prix. In May this year, she also returned to join FOX Sports’ coverage of the Indianapolis 500.
