    Kevin Knight has hit a remarkable milestone in AEW during his reign as the TNT Champion.

    The Jet has been recognized as one of the top prospects of the Jacksonville-based promotion. He garnered attention for his partnership with Speedball Mike Bailey as a captivating duo. They won numerous matches and even had a reign as the AEW World Trios Champions with Hangman Adam Page. Following that, Knight began exploring singles competition more and won the TNT Championship in a Casino Gauntlet match at the Dynasty 2026 pay-per-view.

    During his reign as the TNT Champion, Kevin Knight has battled and defended his title against multiple competitors like MJF and Claudio Castagnoli. In doing so, he etched the record of defending the title nine times, the most in AEW history. With a prestigious accolade like that, Knight surpassed stars like Rusev, Darby Allin, Kyle Fletcher, and Cody Rhodes, who had defended the belt eight times.

    At the end of the Double or Nothing 2026 pay-per-view, Kevin Knight shockingly turned heel. Following that, he dissolved his partnership with Speedball Mike Bailey and joined the Don Callis Family. Bailey reflected on the same, calling Don Callis a bad person and questioning the TNT Champion’s decision to align with him.

    “Today is different, because Kevin has joined the Don Callis family, and I’m gonna say this, I’m gonna say it only once on the vlog, cause I don’t wanna say it too much, I don’t wanna wear it out, but it needs to be said because it’s important, and so please, please hear me when I say this. Fuck Don Callis. It’s just not just a thing to say. It’s a great thing to chant, and I appreciate you all saying it. But he is a bad person. I cannot imagine what went on in Kevin’s head. That he would be like, ‘do you know what I need? I need to join the Don Callis Family.’ This is really what’s going to help me,” said Bailey [H/T: Fightful]

    Regardless of that, Kevin Knight is well on his way to the top. He is set to challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship at the Redemption 2026 PPV. So it remains to be seen if he can beat the Cleaner and walk out a double champion.
