Brookhaven RP is a slice-of-life experience on Roblox where players own luxurious houses, drive different vehicles, and explore the world while communicating wth friends. With the Pets Update, the roleplaying capacities in the game have been expanded for everyone. You can now adopt, carry, feed, and interact with a variety of animals, including cats and dogs.
An equipped pet totters alongside your Roblox avatar. They occasionally let out a bark or meow, making them appear more lively as you explore the virtual world.
All methods to obtain pets in Brookhaven RP
The Pets Update has introduced nine different animals, which include various dog and cat breeds. Players can visit the Pet Adoption Center to view all the available pets and then roleplay with their companions in the newly-added Pet Hospital. Both buildings can be found in the town center.
Out of the nine animals, six are dogs and three are cats. Most of the pets need to be unlocked by purchasing the House Pets Gamepass. That said, there are a few free pets for F2P players.
Here’s how you can acquire pets in Brookhaven RP.
Pets menu
You can access the pets menu at any time during a playthrough. Follow these instructions to equip the furry companions:
- Wait for your character to spawn in the Brookhaven world.
- Press the arrow button on the right side of the screen to view more tabs.
- Click on the tab that features a dog being petted by humans.
- Tap on any of the unlocked pets in the pets menu. You can also write its name in the blank text box below the “Pet Name” section,
- Your equipped pet will start walking alongside your Roblox avatar.
Four animals, namely two dogs and two cats, are unlocked for free.
Animal Rescue Center
Also known as the Pet Adoption Center, this building is located in the town hub. You’ll find all the gamepass-exclusive pets in this center. Purchase the House Pets Gamepass with 319 Robux to unlock all the critters available at this building and use them as your companions.
Click on your pet to interact with it. You’ll then be given three options:
- Pet: Makes your avatar pet the animal, causing it to purr in satisfaction.
- Feed: A bowl appears in front of the animal. It then eats all its contents.
- Carry: Your avatar picks up the animal in their arms.
Note that a single animal can be equipped as a pet. However, you can switch between using different pets at a time.

Animals in the rescue center can only be interacted with after you purchase the House Pets gamepass in Brookhaven RP. These animals are of diverse breeds, which are mentioned in the following section:
