The Giant Tree Key in Beast of Reincarnation is an item essential to progressing through Chapter 7: Root Rot. You will require it to unlock the huge door that leads upwards toward the Giant Tree, where you will find the two Nushi. However, without it, you may get stuck in the game.

How to obtain Giant Tree Key in Beast of Reincarnation
When progressing through Chapter 7 of Beast of Reincarnation, you will come across a console that can be used to unlock the huge metal gate blocking the path upwards toward the Giant Tree. However, upon interacting with it, you will realize that you must first find the Giant Tree Key to be able to unlock the door.
At this point, the quest objective will be automatically updated to ‘Open the Bulkhead leading to the Tree.‘ Here’s how to do so by finding the key:
Interact with the Ancient Golem
The first thing you must do to progress is interact with the Ancient Golem next to the console by the campsite. Talking with it will reveal that you can find the key inside the building behind the golem that emits red smoke.
Go to the building
Getting to the building is rather simple. Just hop onto any of the ropeway cars at the location and ride them toward the target location.
As you get close to the building, you will spot a balcony on its right-hand side that you can land on. Jump here from the car when you get the opportunity.
Proceed to the roof
Head inside the building through the opening in the wall just above where you landed. Here you will come across a few golems in front of a staircase. Defeat all of them and take the stairs up to the roof.
Along the way, you will encounter a few more enemies as well as come across the Ruined Tower Interior campsite.
Defeat the Keymaster Golem
On top of the building, you will encounter a powerful Level 17 enemy called the Keymaster Golem. Simply defeat it in battle to finally obtain the Giant Tree Key in Beast of Reincarnation.
Return to the gate
Once you have the key, simply jump off the roof onto any of the ropeway cars leading back to where you came from. Now, access the console again with the key to successfully unlock the door that leads to the Giant Tree.
