Just moments ago on AEW Collision, Willow Nightingale was involved in a brutal spot during her match on the show. She ended up taking great punishment to her body during that moment.

The Babe with the Power has been on a great run since winning back the TBS Championship on New Year’s Eve, ending Mercedes Moné’s historic title reign. She has been active as a champion, often putting her belt on the line in open challenges. In recent times, she has been taking on returning stars, only to spoil their returns by taking them down.

Willow Nightingale has been labeled as the Comeback Killer, as she has already taken down the likes of Hikaru Shida, Queen Aminata, Kamille, and Anna Jay, all of whom made returns from months-long hiatuses. Willow has spoiled their comebacks, while further proving how great she was as a champion.

Just moments ago, she competed in another title defense after ROH Women’s TV Champion Red Velvet accepted her TBS Championship Open Challenge for tonight’s episode of AEW Collision.

At one pivotal moment during tonight’s contest, Willow Nightingale attempted an outside dive on her opponent from the ring apron. Red Velvet dodged this, which caused Willow to crash and burn. From the broadcast, you could hear her body make a huge thud with the floor.

See a clip of the moment below.

In the end, the champion was able to power through a difficult battle to take the win. She put Red Velvet away with Babes with the Powerbomb for yet another successful title defense.

Willow Nightingale has proven throughout this year that she is a force to be reckoned with. Following her success as the TBS Champion, she is looking to add to this by winning the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and earning a world title shot at All In. It remains to be seen if she’ll be able to become a double champion.
