How to get and evolve
Moonless Sky can be obtained in his pre-evolved state as the Secret-rarity Ichiko unit. You can obtain this character from the Top of the Hueco Castle Raid, as mentioned earlier. There are two main stages from which this unit drops: Act 5 and Boss Rush. He has a 3% drop chance from Act 5, while Boss Rush drops him far more frequently at a 10% drop rate.
Once you get Ichiko, you can evolve him into Ichiko (Rage) using the following items:
- 3x Universal Fragments
- 6x Burning Fragments
- 3x Holy Fragments
- 1x Hollow Essence
- 3x Phantom Fragments
Ichiko (Rage) can then be evolved into the Boundless Moonless Sky with the following items:
- 5x Universal Fragments
- 1x Boundless Orb
- 6x Holy Fragments
- 1x Hollow Essence
- 1x Moonless Blade
- 12x Phantom Fragments

Ability overview
Moonless Sky has access to four unique abilities: He blocked it?, Final Moon Fang, Overwhelming Strength, and Reiatsu Release. The following effects occur as part of the He blocked it? passive:
- If an enemy applies a Stun or a Debuff onto this unit, ignores the Stun or Debuff and counter attacks for 100% damage.
- If the counter hasn’t been triggered in 15 seconds, he launches a counter attack for 125% without applying Pressure.
Final Moon Fang is an active ability, which can be used to enter a powered-up state for the following bonuses:
- Increases Damage, Critical Rate, and Critical Damage for 250%, 50%, and 250%.
- Release a Final Moon Fang attack for 650% damage.
- With each attack, lose 10% of each buff gained in this form.
- When each buff reaches 0%, the unit becomes unsellable and enters Human form for 30 seconds.
- At the end of the Human form, the unit returns to his base state with no upgrades.
Here are the effects of the Overwhelming Strength passive ability:
- Applies Pressure and Confusion for 10 and two seconds, respectively.
- Enemies receive 25% more damage from all sources.
- This unit deals 50% extra damage to units afflicted by Pressure.
- When an enemy afflicted by Pressure enters half this unit’s range, this unit deals 50% damage to the enemy instantly.
Lastly, Reiatsu Release grants Moonless Sky the following effects:
- Upon performing an attack, the unit releases a lingering follow-up attack and deals 60% damage per second for three seconds.
- For every enemy defeated by the first hit, increases follow-up attack duration by 1 second (max 10 seconds).
- At the end of a follow-up attack, the unit gains 10% Critical Damage (max 100%) and follow-ups enter a 10-second cooldown state.
