
US President Donald Trump confirmed on Fox News that the US and Saudi Arabia coordinated attacks on Iran-backed Iraqi militias with the Iraqi government itself. But Iraq has called the strikes a ‘blatant violation’, and its prime minister has called off a meeting with the Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salmane due to the attack. This comes as the US struggles to put an end to the war with Iran. FRANCE 24’s Angela Diffley tells us more.
