Dodge opened orders for the 670-hp 2027 Charger Daytona EV, the “quickest and most powerful AWD muscle car,” but is it worth the price?
2027 Dodge Charger Daytona EV prices and range
After pulling the base R/T trim from its lineup for the 2026 model year, Dodge now only offers the higher-performance Scat Pack version.
The 2027 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack is powered by an all-wheel-drive (AWD) powertrain, delivering up to 670 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to hit 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds.
While the performance hasn’t changed from last year’s model, Dodge added a few upgrades for the 2027 model year.
One of the most notable is that the 2027 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack now includes a standard NACS (North American Charging System) port, unlocking access to over 29,000 additional chargers across the US, including Tesla Superchargers. It will still also include a J1772-to-NACS AC adapter.
Aside from the added NACS port, the Charger EV remains largely the same. It offers a full suite of drive modes, including: Sport, Track, Drag, Custom, Auto/Eco, Wet/Snow, and Valet.
For those looking for a little more fun or performance, you can choose from various race options like Drift/Donut mode, Launch Control, and PowerShot, which unlocks an extra 40 hp for a 10-second power boost. Plus, who could forget the “World’s first Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust” system, which emulates the sounds of a classic V-8 engine.
With instant torque, the EV version is the fastest Charger, even quicker than the high-output (H.O) twin turbo SIXPACK engine, the “most powerful Hurricane engine in production” with 550 hp.
The 2027 Charger Scat Pack SIXPACK H.O, with 550 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque, can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.9 seconds, or 0.6 seconds slower than the EV version.
Inside, the electric Charger features a 12.3″ infotainment and a 16″ digital cluster as standard. It also includes a Pistol-grip shifter, a nine-speaker Alpine audio system, and dual-zone climate control.
Upgrading to the Plus version adds ventilated front seats, Dodge welcome lighting, 64-color Attitude Adjustment lighting, upgraded LED headlamps, a Head-up Display (HUD), a 360-degree surround-view camera, wireless charging, and a power rear hatch.
Other optional upgrades include a Carbon & Suede Package, a Blacktop Package, a panoramic glass roof, a premium 18-speaker Alpine Pro audio system, and Demonic Red or Petrol Blue.

So, how much does it cost? The 2027 Dodge Charger Daytona EV Scat Pack starts at $72,495, while the 4-door model costs an extra $500. Upgrading to the Plus version will cost you $77,490, and again, an extra $500 for the four-door model. That’s considerably more expensive than the 2026 model year, which starts at $61,995.
Depending on the package, Dodge said the 2027 Charger Daytona EV two-door model offers a driving range of up to 267 miles.
Orders for the 2027 Dodge Charger are now open, with new models scheduled to begin arriving at dealerships in Q3 2026.
