    RRB NTPC UG 2026 Result: Shortlist for CBT 1 released, scorecards to be out on Aug 26 | Education News

    The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) 2026 result for undergraduate positions on its regional official websites. Candidates who appeared for the Computer-Based Test (CBT)-1 of this exam can check their results online from their respective regional websites.

    As per the official announcement, RRB has released the list of roll numbers of all the candidates who have qualified for the CBT-2. The board will release the direct link to download the scorecards tomorrow, August 26, at 5 pm. Candidates will be able to access their scorecards online by entering their registration number and password on the regional website.

    The board has also announced the examination date for the next stage. According to the press release, the second CBT for the positions under the CEN 07/2025 for the qualified candidates has tentatively been scheduled for the third week of September 2026. The city intimation slip will be released 10 days prior to the exam, while the call letters will be issued 4 days before the exam date.

    The list of qualified candidates has been released on a provisional basis and can be cancelled by RRB in case of any discrepancy. Candidates need to check all the details mentioned on their RRB NTPC UG 2026 result thoroughly after the scorecards are released by the board. In case of any error in the details, candidates will be required to reach out to the concerned authority to get it rectified.

    The RRB NTPC UG 2026 exam was conducted on May 7 and 9, 2026 for some candidates and from May 13 to May 20 for the remaining candidates across different regions of India at various test centres. The complete recruitment process consists of four stages, namely CBT-1, CBT-2, CBAT or typing skill test and document verification, along with medical examination of all the shortlisted candidates. For the current recruitment drive, a total of 3058 vacancies were announced under the NTPC UG categories by the Ministry of Railways.
