Royal biographer Andrew Lownie made some shocking claims about former Prince Andrew during his recent appearance on Maureen Callahan’s podcast. In the May 22 episode of The Nerve, Callahan invited Lownie to discuss his book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, in which he wrote about the life of ex-Prince Andrew and his former wife, Sarah Ferguson.
Callahan referenced a claim from Lownie’s book alleging that former Prince Andrew once kicked a dog in the head after it grabbed a sausage from a guest’s hand. Maureen Callahan noted that the guest allegedly shamed the former prince for his behavior.
While discussing the alleged incident, The Nerve host added that there have been reports of former Prince Andrew being investigated for “torturing” girls and women who had allegedly been trafficked to him. She asked the royal author more about it. Lownie, in his response, claimed that while he was investigating the alleged dog-kicking incident, he heard that the former Duke was also involved in “satanic rites.”
“During the course of search, a lot of people came up to me saying, you know, Andrew’s involved in satanic rites. I just could didn’t think it was credible. But now, you know, we’re seeing some pretty horrific stories coming out of what was going on at the Zorro Ranch [which belonged to Epstein] and people coming forward… So, yeah, it doesn’t, you know, that wouldn’t surprise me,” Lownie remarked.
The royal biographer further discussed the alleged dog abuse and claimed it took place in the presence of the royal family. Lownie said that in the evening Prince Philip came up to the guest and said, “Thank you for correcting Andrew.”
Former Prince Andrew has been under scrutiny over his connection with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The latest tranche of Epstein files included allegedly compromising pictures of the former prince with women. Weeks after the release of the latest batch, the ex-prince was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
Andrew Lownie raises eyebrows at ongoing investigation into former Prince Andrew’s alleged ties to Epstein
Later in Friday’s episode of her podcast, Maureen Callahan asked Lownie about the alleged reports of ex-Prince Andrew “torturing” a young girl in front of others. The royal biographer noted that “all sorts of things beginning to emerge” and hoped for the release of more Epstein documents. He further raised eyebrows at the recent meeting between King Charles and President Trump.
“I know the British police have been trying to get those unredacted emails, and for whatever reason, the Department of Justice is now kind of protecting Andrew. One wonders if some sort of deal was done when the King and President Trump met,” Lownie commented.
Maureen Callahan also asked about the possibility of former Prince Andrew being tried in the USA. Lownie responded, “It’s very unlikely.” The author added that the royal family would “not want a trial” for the former Duke of York.
“Andrew just needs to say, ‘Look, you knew all about this. You protected me. Why am I going down and I’m going to spill the beans on you?’ So, I’m sure there’s a lot of very serious discussion going on behind the scenes to kind of keep this and make sure he never faces justice,” he added.
Elsewhere in the podcast, Andrew Lownie also made startling assertions about the former Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson. In his book, he claimed that Ferguson was “friends with benefits” with Diddy. On Maureen Callahan’s podcast, he said that a former PA of Ferguson told him that she “really had no boundaries.” He went on to claim that, “She slept with lots and lots of her financial mentors.”
In a recent development, Thames Valley Police, which was overseeing the investigation into ex-Prince Andrew’s alleged misconduct in public office, released a statement on Friday clarifying it was also open to investigating allegations of sexual misconduct against King Charles’ brother.
