Top quarterback instructor Quincy Avery mocked former defensive end Marcellus Wiley as he gets hit with divorce proceedings amid other legal battles. Wiley was arrested on July 4th in Orlando, Florida after his wife Annemarie called the police to report him.
She alleged that the 51-year-old threatened her life and physically assaulted her. Wiley, who denied the claims, was released on a $1000 bond, as the situation further unraveled.
Thanks for the submission!
Annemarie officially initiated divorce proceedings against Wiley earlier this week in the Los Angeles Country Superior Court. The former reality TV star also sought a domestic violence restraining order against Wiley.

Details of the allegations against Marcellus Wiley by his wife
She alleged a decade-long pattern of physical, sexual, emotional, and financial abuse by the former defensive end throughout their relationship. According to the divorce filings, Marcellus Wiley physically abused his wife at least once in a month throughout their relationship.
She claimed that the former FOX analyst punched her in the face in 2014, leaving her with a black eye. She further claimed that he threw a Coca-Cola bottle at her head in 2019 while she was nine months pregnant.
Furthermore, she alleged that he broke her thumb during an incident around Christmas 2021 and struck her with his shoes in 2025. She also alleged in the court documents that Wiley raped her four times since 2012, beginning with an incident in 2012 when she was reportedly intoxicated.
The documents include multiple instances of sexual assault, during one of which Wiley allegedly told Annemarie she was his property.
In addition to physical any sexual abuse, she also accused Wiley of extreme financial control throughout their 12-year-old marriage. Part of her claim is that he borrowed $100,000 from her, which he hasn’t repaid. She further claimed that he accumulated up to $100,000 in unauthorized credit card debt in her name.
Meanwhile, Wiley denied all claims against him in a post he made on X.
“I completely and unequivocally deny these allegations,” he wrote. “And I’m certain the truth will prevail.”
He promised to state his side of the story in due time.
