AEW’s collaborate Forbidden Day pay-per-view is scheduled to take place tonight at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. However, before the show had even taken place, the Wikipedia page for the event had a surprise for wrestling fans.
Forbidden Door is a collaborative pay-per-view, which previously saw AEW and NJPW come together to host the show. This year sees CMLL and Stardom being added to the list of promotions officially collaborating for the event.
This time, the event will feature the culmination of the men’s and women’s Owen Hart Cup, becoming the third All Elite Wrestling PPV to play host to the finals.
POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD: In a shocking update, earlier today, which could be a spoiler for what’s to come, popular website Wikipedia published the results of each bout on the PPV card, including match durations, as it normally does for similar wrestling events. This created a lot of confusion among fans.

While all the reigning champions retained their titles, the finals of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament had Maya World and Will Ospreay listed as the winners for this year, effectively meaning they would go on to get world title shots at All In 2026.
Meanwhile, Team Briscoe defeated Team MJF inside a steel cage, signifying Mark Briscoe would get a shot at Maxwell Jacob Friedman’s AEW World Title at some point.
AEW Forbidden Door 2026 Wikipedia Event Page Corrected
Several wrestling fans were confused as to whether the event slated for June 28, 2026, had already taken place.
However, that isn’t the case, and the event page on Wikipedia was restored to its original form within a few hours.

Although Wikipedia is not an open-source website, it operates under an open-source management style, which means that all content is freely editable and collaborative.
