He overcame a gunshot wound sustained in an attempted robbery prior to his rookie year. He went on to haul in 31 passes for 400 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games. His followup campaign was derailed by lingering health issues.
He was restricted by hamstring and PCL troubles to just nine games in 2025. He produced 36 receptions for 528 scoreless yard. Over the course of his career, he has played in 20 games, accumulating 67 catches for 928 yards and three touchdowns.
Ricky Pearsall’s latest setback coincides with a transition period for the 49ers’ offense. The team is retooling its passing offense around top free agent signee Mike Evans.
