The healthtech startup plans to launch 500+ hybrid healthcare centers, bridging India’s rural-urban healthcare divide through telemedicine and on-ground medical services.

Dr. Vishesh Kasliwal, Founder and CEO, Medyseva, raises ₹4 Crore to Bring Hybrid Healthcare to Rural India

MedySeva Raises ₹4 Crore to Bring Hybrid Healthcare to Rural India

MedySeva, a rising healthtech startup, just secured ₹4 crore in seed funding led by Unicorn India Ventures. With this boost, the company’s setting out to open more than 500 hybrid healthcare centers—places where you get both telemedicine and face-to-face care—across rural and semi-urban parts of India. Their goal? To close the gap between city hospitals and smaller towns where medical help is still tough to find.

Dr. Vishesh Kasliwal, who started MedySeva, wants to make healthcare simple, affordable, and reliable for everyone, especially for folks living outside big cities. The team’s phygital approach connects patients in remote areas with urban specialists, using a smooth teleconsultation platform backed up by local clinics.

“At MedySeva, our mission is simple—make quality healthcare available to every Indian, no matter where they live,” said Dr. Kasliwal. “This funding lets us grow our hybrid healthcare model and build a network that really bridges India’s healthcare divide.”

    Growing Fast, Going Wide

With fresh capital in hand, MedySeva is pushing to launch 500+ phygital centers over the next year and a half. They’re also looking to break into five more states, teaming up with institutions and state partners to move faster.

In the past year, MedySeva has already handled over 1 lakh consultations in rural and semi-urban areas. Now, they’re aiming for 2 lakh a year by mid-2027, showing just how much demand there is. The company’s also working with medical colleges to set up satellite clinics, so even people in far-off villages can see real doctors. They’ve brought on board specialists from more than 10 fields—think general medicine, neurology, gynecology—so help gets to patients quickly.

Building a Connected Rural Health Ecosystem

But MedySeva’s not stopping at just consultations. Their bigger vision is a full-blown healthcare ecosystem that links city doctors, medical colleges, and local health workers. With digital tools powering the system, patients can get diagnosed faster, monitored regularly, and followed up with—no matter where they live.

Combining telemedicine with physical clinics tackles one of India’s toughest problems: the shortage of doctors in small towns and villages. “Healthcare access is still a huge challenge in India, especially outside the metros,” said Bhaskar Majumdar, Managing Partner at Unicorn India Ventures. “MedySeva’s tech-driven model is smart and ready to scale. It doesn’t just increase access—it makes healthcare more inclusive and sustainable.”

Spreading the Word, Reaching More People

Part of the new funding will go into marketing and awareness—getting both patients and local health workers on board. MedySeva’s also upgrading its digital system, improving telemedicine tools, doctor networks, and a national support team to keep care consistent everywhere.

Looking ahead, MedySeva plans to work with private hospitals and healthcare networks, folding its teleconsultation model into their services to reach even more people and keep things running smoothly.

    About MedySeva

MedySeva is all about making healthcare work for every Indian, no matter where they live. By blending digital consultations with local clinics, the company’s building a network that makes quality care accessible across the country. With more doctors, clinics, and partners joining in, MedySeva keeps pushing the limits of inclusive healthcare in India.
