Tom Brady has been in front of the camera for decades, but fans have never seen the model side of the former Patriots quarterback. Brady showed up in a GQ campaign in fashion-centric clothes, resembling his ex-wife’s profession more than that of a football player.
The Joe Burrow-like move elicited a reaction from Jason Whitlock in a reel posted on Instagram on Wednesday. Whitlock’s reaction was negative and leaned into politics.

“He’s trying to tell 25-year-old women, ‘hey, I’m still relatable.’ I think Tom Brady has insecurity issues,” Whitlock said. “We thought he was this humble kid from Michigan. No, this is a guy from Northern California who perhaps is being who he was always going to be, and that Bill Belichick pushed that out of him while he was with the Patriots.
“As soon as he left Bill Belichick, Tom Brady feels a bit more comfortable being exactly who he is: a Northern Californian leftist.”
Whitlock has gone on record calling out various players and NFL topics in his career on social media. The talk show host has now taken aim at Brady. The former quarterback has responded to critics before, such as Jake Paul. One can only wait to see if the New England Patriots legend responds in turn.

Tom Brady pulls back curtain on viral new campaign
Tom Brady didn’t just drop the beginnings of a potential new recurring side gig and walk away. In the GQ story, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback spoke about the experience, revealing it was his first time in Times Square in a long time.
“I’ve had a place in New York for a long time, but I’m not really ever in Times Square, other than driving through it,” he said. “So when they said we’re doing this in Times Square, I was like, ‘Wait, how are they doing that? How does that happen?’ Somehow the people at Gucci figured it out.”
The FOX analyst also spoke about his new updated opinion on leather apparel, revealing that it reminded him of his old football uniform.
“Yeah, I’d never really done leather on leather before, but there are some leather pants in my closet now,” he said. “I thought, “D*mn, that’s actually really comfortable.” I could see why people wear this. It’s definitely a different look. It felt more like a uniform—there was a rigidity and a structure to it, like my football uniform.”
With one Brady photoshoot down, fans will have to wait to see if the former quarterback shows up in another well-known location with a different look. Perhaps before that, fans will see the former quarterback in a traditional suit calling games for FOX in September.
