Chris Jericho is undoubtedly one of the greatest of all time. He has been with AEW since 2019 and is a former AEW World Champion. Y2J is currently in his mid 50s, but is still an excellent in-ring competitor. He is in a feud with former TNT Champion Tommaso Ciampa and will lock horns with him at Redemption.

Fox News Digital recently interviewed Chris Jericho. In this conversation, the legend said that he is very proud of everything he has done in his career. He loves professional wrestling and making wrestling documentaries. In addition, he said that he is living his dream and is happy that he is still working at a high level.

“I’m very proud of all the work that I’ve done….that’s why I still do it, that’s why I still love wrestling and making documentaries involving wrestling, per se, because I think it’s such a wonderful sport that really does tie the world together, wonderful form of entertainment. I live my dream doing something that I always wanted to do and here I’m doing it almost longer than anybody else at a high level. I think that’s something to be proud of.” he said.

Chris Jericho believes that people will be sad after he hangs up his boots

In the interview above, Chris Jericho said that people will be sad once he retires from professional wrestling because he gives his best in whatever he does.

“I think when I’m done, people will be sad that I’m not around anymore. I think a lot of the people that you mentioned, social media wise, that don’t like me just because I’m still doing this will realize like, hey, we had something pretty cool there, we should have been watching a little bit more because all I ever do is give my best 1,000% for whatever situation I’m in to make it better, to make my opponent better, to make me better, to make the company better, to make the show better,” said Jericho.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the veteran. Hopefully, he will have a singles title reign before saying goodbye to the business.
