A popular AEW star has suddenly removed all mentions of the company from his social media profile. Fans have reacted to this and speculated on his next destination. Many believe he could go to WWE.
Sammy Guevara is considered an AEW original, having been with the company since 2019. While he has gone on several great runs with the promotion, in recent times he has been a prominent figure on ROH. At one point, he held both the tag team and six-man tag team titles of the company. But currently he no longer holds any belts.
Last night, the Spanish God took to X/Twitter and posted about having a new bio. While he did not make any other major changes, he no longer had any mention of the Jacksonville-based promotion on his profile. This now only read “World Champion, Husband, Father & Professional Wrestler“.
Fans began to speculate if he was hinting at his imminent departure from the company, seeing as he has not been active on TV as well. Many fans believed that if he were to leave, WWE would be the best option for him. Several fans noted how Cody Rhodes could help get him signed. Others noted that he could also make his way to their partner brands and companies like NXT, TNA, or AAA.
Some fans were unfazed by his recent hints, as they believed he was just trying to get some publicity. They believed that he may end up staying with AEW and ROH in the end.
