The latest episode of Monday Night Raw emanated live from Detroit, Michigan, serving as the penultimate stop for SummerSlam 2026. What was supposed to be an explosive night fell short of expectations due to several creative blunders and poor booking decisions. Triple H delivered a substandard show, filled with excessive video packages, repetitive recaps, and filler matches.
Despite those structural flaws, WWE still managed to deliver a few key moments that kept Monday Night Raw’s pulse beating. Top stars like Oba Femi, Seth Rollins, and IYO SKY were all in the house to hype up their ongoing feuds. Whether it was Alpha Academy’s demolition or the Bloodline making a statement, there were a few notable moments that the company worked well.

Here are four things Triple H got right on WWE RAW this week:
#4. Paul Heyman’s chilling message to Oba Femi
Oba Femi is set to face Brock Lesnar in a high-voltage clash inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam. While The Ruler was in the house tonight, The Beast Incarnate was nowhere to be seen. However, WWE did a great job by letting Paul Heyman carry the storyline forward in Lesnar’s absence. The Wiseman appeared in a video package in which he discussed the blockbuster Hell in a Cell match.
Paul Heyman took a direct shot at Oba Femi’s rapid rise, calling him oba-rated. But the atmosphere got thick when The Hall of Famer sent a spine-chilling ultimatum to The Ruler. Heyman stated that Femi isn’t stepping into just a match at SummerSlam; he is walking into a slaughterhouse. The segment brilliantly elevated the ongoing rivalry, hyping the upcoming Hell in a Cell match.
#3. The Vision making a bold statement
Bron Breakker and Austin Theory battled Je’Von Evans and Dragon Lee in a huge tag team match this week on RAW. However, chaos unraveled after the bout when Otis and Akira Tozawa stormed into the ring looking for revenge. While Alpha Academy did dominate initially, The Vision ultimately turned the tables in their favor. They unleashed a brutal beatdown on the babyface duo.
The ending sequence of the segment saw Bron Breakker, Austin Theory, Logan Paul and Maxxine Dupri standing tall in the ring. Triple H made the right decision by letting The Vision make a bold statement. The group recently saw its resurgence after Dupri’s addition, and there was no way WWE could have made them look weak. Hence, Bron and Co. dominating was the right move.
#2. Lyra Valkyria setting her sights on the Women’s IC Title
Lyra Valkyria secured a massive victory over Bayley this past weekend at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Fresh off her massive win, WWE should have featured the 29-year-old in a prominent segment on the show. Unfortunately, it did not happen! But the one positive that came out of this week’s RAW was Valkyria setting her sights on the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
During the commercial break on Netflix, Sol Ruca was getting interviewed by Jackie Redmond about her upcoming title defense against Raquel Rodriguez. However, Lyra Valkyria interrupted her and confronted the champ. The Lady of Opera made a bold statement that she was coming after the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, the title that belonged to her.
#1. Bloodline wreaking havoc on Monday Night Raw
The most compelling segment of this week’s Monday Night Raw came from the mainevent where fans witnessed absolute pandemonium. Jacob Fatu was locked in a one-on-one match with LA Knight, where fans witnessed ringside interference from Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys. While Fatu did emerge victorious, a massive brawl broke out after the match.
However, it was the Bloodline that dominated entirely. Jacob Fatu, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso unleashed pure carnage on their SummerSlam opponents, leaving trails of destruction in their wake. Monday Night Raw ended with the Bloodline standing tall in the ring. Triple H brilliantly executed the segment, generating hype for the blockbuster tag team match for SummerSlam.
