GTA Online Car Wash update activities are currently one of the fastest ways to make money in the game, and many players are starting to realize just how profitable this week’s bonuses actually are. The boosted payouts tied to the Car Wash business have quietly turned it into one of the best grinding methods available right now.

This pertains specifically to the Money Laundering Missions tied to the GTA Online Car Wash update, and if someone is sitting on a low balance ahead of what is expected to be a fairly expensive DLC drop, this week is the time to fix that.

Steps to earn $140k every 5 minutes with the GTA Online Car Wash update

The core of this method revolves around the Money Laundering Missions available through the Car Wash business, which are paying out 4x cash this week (May 28 – June 3, 2026). That means every single mission completed is worth $140,000, and with a decent vehicle like the Oppressor Mk II, most of them wrap up within 6 minutes.

Strung together back-to-back, that puts the earning rate somewhere between $1.4 million and $1.6 million per hour, which makes it one of the strongest money methods available right now by a clear margin.

For anyone who does not already own a car wash, it is currently 40% off this week and can be found on Maze Bank Foreclosures. If it does not appear there immediately, head to the airport, find Martin Madrazo, and watch the cutscene that triggers. After that, the business becomes available to purchase, and the missions open up.

Types of Money Laundering Missions in GTA Online

There are four different mission types that can come up when running Money Laundering Missions. Three of them are genuinely quick, and they are:

One involves going to a rival operation and torching it with Molotovs, which is straightforward and fast. Another requires breaking a car out of a container and then salvaging it for parts.

The third sends you into a rival operation to steal money directly from washing machines. All three of these, with an Oppressor Mk II or a similarly fast vehicle, sit comfortably within the 6-minute window.

The fourth mission type is the one to avoid. It is a stockade mission that involves disguising, stealing a stockade, and then driving it to three separate locations across the map. If that mission comes up, the recommendation is to simply find a new lobby and restart until one of the faster three appears.

How the payout for the GTA Online Car Wash update actually works

After completing a mission, the money does not appear instantly. There is a short wait of around 5 minutes, after which the earnings show up inside the Hands On Car Wash next to the bed. The money just sits there and can be collected whenever, so there is no need to stop and wait for it.

The better approach is to keep running missions back to back and swing by to collect the stack every few runs.

One important thing worth noting is that running these missions repeatedly will gradually fill up a heat bar. Once it reaches the top, a legal car wash job needs to be completed to bring it back down. Of course, this only needs to happen once the bar is fully maxed, so it does not interrupt the flow much at all.

Why should you take advantage of this week’s GTA Online Car Wash update bonuses? (May 28 – June 3, 2026)

A new GTA Online summer DLC is expected soon, and as with every major update, having at least $20 million saved is a comfortable threshold for picking up everything that comes with it. Vehicles, properties, and whatever else Rockstar adds to the shop all add up fast.

Getting ahead of that now, rather than scrambling at the last minute or reaching for Shark Cards, is exactly what this week’s setup is built for.

The missions are quick, the payout is inflated, and the barrier to entry is low given the GTA Online Car Wash update discount. It is one of those weeks where the math just works out in your favour.
