ONE strawweight kickboxing world champion Jonathan Di Bella of Italy and Canada is one of the sharpest technical minds in ONE Championship’s striking ranks. When he breaks down a fight, it is worth paying attention.

The 2025 ONE Kickboxer of the Year has been closely following the buildup to the atomweight title clash between ONE women’s atomweight Muay Thai world champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues and challenger “The Queen” Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom at The Inner Circle 19 on Friday.

Di Bella understands better than most what separates the elite from everyone else at close range under four-ounce gloves.

In an exclusive interview with ONE Championship, Di Bella broke down the epic superfight:

“I really don’t know much about their weaknesses. I really like them both. I know they are both very offensive. It could be like a 50-50 or 60-40 fight for Phetjeeja just because of her technique.”

    He continued:

“Her technique is very flawless, and she has more of a boxing-based style and very good kicks. And she’s very slick. And with those 4-ounce gloves, her boxing could be dangerous. And Allycia is more of a Muay Thai style, and she is very dangerous, too.”

Phetjeeja says rebooked match with Allycia Hellen Rodrigues was for the best

Phetjeeja and Allycia Hellen Rodrigues’ champion versus champion clash was initially scheduled to go down in March.

However, both athletes suffered injuries in their training camps since they pushed their bodies to the limit.

Now, “The Queen” believes fans will be treated to the best version of both world-class female strikers.

“Yeah, I did. But I was also dealing with an injury during training camp at the time, so I figured pushing it back was probably for the best,” Phetjeeja told ONE.
