    Former WWE champion takes a shot at MJF amid ongoing issues between the two

    A former WWE champion caught attention with a fresh dig at MJF. The duo has been teasing a feud in AEW for quite some time.

    The star in question is none other than Andrade El Idolo. The former WWE United States Champion and NXT Champion has been vying for an AEW World Title shot since returning to the promotion in January. That said, the Mexican star has so far fallen short at the final hurdles. Another development in recent months is his absolute disdain for reigning champ MJF. The two have been at loggerheads for quite a while but haven’t acted on their hatred for each other because of their relationship with Don Callis.

    Friedman has been trying to ward off another threat to his title: Mark Briscoe. This week on Dynamite, Andrade, joined by his DCF teammates (Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Kazuchika Okada, Jack Doyle), begrudgingly teamed with Friedman to take on team Briscoe (Briscoe, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly, Darby Allin & Konosuke Takeshita) in a 12-man tag match, which MJF and El Idolo’s team won. Sometime after the bout, the Salt of the Earth posted an image of his victorious team on Instagram, calling it “Godly.” Andrade caught wind of it and responded with his now-trademark question, “How you know?”

    “Okay! How you know?” Andrade responded on Instagram.

    Andrade comments on WWE star Carmelo Hayes’ wedding announcement

    Wedding bells are ringing for WWE SmackDown star Carmelo Hayes, who recently announced his marriage to his long-term girlfriend, fellow WWE and NXT star Kelani Jordan. In a heartfelt Instagram post, the “Melo Don’t Miss” star shared photos of himself and his to-be, revealing they will marry in 4 months.

    “4 months until I get to marry the woman of my dreams. When it’s all said and done my biggest blessing will always be you, Lea. I love you and can’t wait to make you my Wife ❤️‍🔥,” Hayes on Instagram.

    The announcement caught the attention of his former colleague Andrade, who responded to Hayes’ post with a simple clapping emoji.
