    This week’s AEW Dynamite was nothing less than a pay-per-view. Kenny Omega became the new World Champion by dethroning MJF in the main event. Furthermore, Konosuke Takeshita lost the International Title to the Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher.

    Dynamite: Beach Break also featured the anticipated return of Willow Nightingale. The former TBS Champion was out of action for a few weeks due to injury. She made her comeback at the Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match and won the whole thing. She will challenge AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla at Redemption. Fans are excited for this showdown and are expecting the 32-year-old to dethrone the Toxic Spider. If she is successful, she will defend the title against Mercedes Moné at All In: London.

    All Elite Wrestling’s X handle officially announced Willow’s return a few hours back. The statement even confirmed her upcoming match with Thekla.

    “After having to relinquish the TBS Title due to injury, @WillowWrestles returned to win an opportunity at the AEW Women’s World Championship at #AEWRedemption!,” read the update.

    Willow Nightingale is one of the most talented names in All Elite Wrestling’s women’s division. Tony Khan has immense faith in her, and it seems like her future is bright. WWE might try to sign her someday.

    Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are rumored to join All Elite Wrestling this year. Willow Nightingale is a huge fan of the New Day. In a recent appearance on Marking Out with MVP & Dwayne Swayze, the 32-year-old showered the legends with praise and said that they broke down stereotypes.

    “I also personally would like to do a shoutout to New Day because when we talk about a Willow Nightingale kind of character of like… breaking down a stereotype, and embracing the positive and joy. Black joy and being carefree and whimsical. I think they helped people accept that and be like, ‘Yeah! That is cool. Right on’ and can kind of make way for me to also be like, that is what I have been dishing out,” she said.

    Only time will tell what the future holds for Willow. Hopefully, she will win the Women’s World Title at Redemption.
