Indiana Fever fans once again voiced their frustration with head coach Stephanie White on social media after she appeared to ignore Caitlin Clark‘s request to challenge a call on Tuesday. The moment prompted Clark to take her appeal to assistant coach Rob Dosier instead, drawing criticism from fans.

A fan later shared a clip of the exchange on X (formerly Twitter).

“CAITLIN WENT TO ROB TO MAKE SURE THEY CHALLENGED LMFAOOOOO,” the fan wrote.

In the clip, Clark appeared to bring the ball up the floor before losing possession to Flau’jae Johnson near midcourt, with officials awarding the ball to the Seattle Storm. Clark immediately called for a challenge, but White did not respond, prompting the Fever star to take her complaint to Dosier instead.

During the review, Clark’s challenge was deemed successful, with the ball seemingly coming off of Johnson’s foot. However, White’s lack of faith in her superstar was not taken kindly by fans, who shared their reactions under the post.

“Steph really doesn’t trust Caitlin at all,” a fan wrote. “She doesn’t trust Caitlin to give her the full keys, and she doesn’t trust Caitlin to challenge when cc asks her for it. She never has Caitlin’s back. I hope Caitlin continues to override Steph by appealing to those who actually trust her.”

@nosyone4 steph really doesn’t trust caitlin at all. she doesn’t trust caitlin to give her the full keys and she doesn’t trust caitlin to challenge when cc asks her for it. she never has caitlin’s back. i hope caitlin continues to override steph by appealing to those who actually trust her

@nosyone4 It’s still eff SW, she does not like CC

@nosyone4 this shit is embarrassing to me…like god damn it steph just trust your superstar for the love of god.

@nosyone4 Only Rob in her corner, she knew SW was gonna let that go unchallenged.

@nosyone4 This coach is awful…but wouldn’t challenge the no foul

Despite the criticism directed at White, the Fever finished the night on a positive note. Indiana extended its winning streak from before the All-Star break with a 105-95 victory over the Seattle Storm, while Clark led the way with 32 points and seven assists.

Caitlin Clark earns massive praise from teammate after another stellar performance

Caitlin Clark continued her impressive form for the Indiana Fever on Tuesday, delivering another standout performance against the Seattle Storm. Her outing helped Indiana extend its winning streak as the team continues its pursuit of a first WNBA title in decades.

During the postgame interview, Kelsey Mitchell praised Clark’s performance, particularly her play in the third quarter.

“Just kind of fill in the gaps for her,” Mitchell said. “She’s one of the best for a reason and I think the best thing for me is trying to just be there for what she needs.

“Whether I need to cut, what I need to make sure I get off of it.Just kind of be ready and be steady.”

Clark and Mitchell continue to lead the Fever, with Tuesday’s victory improving the team’s record to 18-10 and moving Indiana into fifth place in the WNBA standings.
