The White House is fresh off hosting UFC Freedom 250. President Donald Trump was in attendance as the promotion served up something to remember for those present on the South Lawn and watching on TV.

UConn Huskies basketball coach Dan Hurley was asked about potentially playing at the White House. The two-time national champion suggested that his UConn Huskies face off against the Duke Blue Devils in a hypothetical game.

Cowboys’ insider Clarence Hill Jr went scorched earth on Hurley.

“Typical maga coach. Doesn’t care about his players or the communities they come from Just like the administration.” Hill wrote.

Dan Hurley is one of the most successful coaches in the NCAA. He’s fresh off guiding the UConn Huskies to a national championship game, where they narrowly lost to the Michigan Wolverines.

Hurley has been loyal to the Huskies since his appointment in 2018. He famously turned down a six-year, $70 million offer to join the Los Angeles Lakers in 2024. In the meantime, he’s preparing for his seventh season with the program.

Dallas Cowboys cancel their final practice of minicamp

Clarence Hill Jr. was one of the first to break the news of the Dallas Cowboys cancelling their third and final minicamp. Hill has covered America’s team for over two decades, and he’s built a solid following on X (formerly Twitter).

The Dallas Cowboys are gearing up for an important campaign for the franchise. They’ve failed to make the playoffs for the past two seasons, and Jerry Jones will look to end that unwanted drought.

The Dallas Cowboys have been active in revamping their roster, adding over 10 veterans via free agency, Rashan Gary (and others) via trade, and two first-round talents, along with 11 undrafted rookies, during the 2026 offseason.

In the meantime, following the end of minicamp, the Cowboys can ramp up preparations for their preseason slate. Dak Prescott and Co. will face off against the Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Saints. Then they’ll start the regular season with a matchup against the New York Giants.
