Aliyah Boston snubbed Caitlin Clark while discussing possible MVP candidates for this season with Candace Parker. The pair overlooked Clark on their list while featuring Olivia Miles and Paige Bueckers, a move that drew the ire of Clark fans, who slammed them for snubbing the star.

Boston and Parker left the Fever superstar out of their list during an episode of their podcast “Post Moves” in early August.

“So, I think in terms of MVP, it may not be in this order, but to me it’s A’ja Wilson. Surprise, surprise. Olivia Miles,” Parker said.

The WNBA legend selected Miles, Bueckers, and A’ja Wilson as her MVP candidates, while Boston highlighted Kelsey Mitchell as her top pick.

    “Kelsey Mitchell,” Boston added.

“Oh, my bad. Kelsey Mitchell, Paige Bueckers. Those are my four,” Parker continued. “I think you could swap, but I think Olivia Miles gets the edge just because they’re the number one team in the league … But yeah, I think A’ja Wilson again, unless voters get tired, you know, this mid-season.”

A clip of Boston and Parker listing their MVP candidates was shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday by a Clark fan.

“Aliyah Boston and Candace Parker snub Caitlin Clark from the MVP conversation. Their top 4: A’ja Wilson, Olivia Miles, Kelsey Mitchell, Paige Bueckers,” the fan wrote.

The post quickly turned heads online as Indiana supporters slammed Boston for snubbing Clark.

“AB should be traded… can’t have all three next year,” a fan remarked.

@jamelehill AB should be traded.. can’t have all three next year.

@jamelehill AB has been a disappointment this season, she continues to ice out CC, and she has missed a ton of layups 🤷🏼‍♂️

@jamelehill PB over CC is a complete joke. And it’s even worse coming from a teammate. 🗑️

@jamelehill What a JOKE. For AB to keep CC out speaks volumes. She hasn’t passed to CC all year and just ignores her. Amd what the hell has Paige done to be in the MVP race? Especially above CC?

@jamelehill Disappointing 🫤 but explains AB’s lack of finishing shots that used to be money

Clark has been one of the league’s top performers this season, ranking third in scoring at 21.7 points per game and tied with Alyssa Thomas for the league lead in assists at 8.2 per game.

Despite her standout numbers, Boston still overlooked the Fever superstar, earning strong reactions from the Indiana faithful.

Aliyah Boston overlooks Caitlin Clark while picking another Fever teammate for MVP contender

With the WNBA regular season entering its climax, conversations around the MVP race have begun to heat up. Among the contenders, the Indiana Fever have two strong candidates in Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell.

However, according to Aliyah Boston, Mitchell is the clear MVP, as she picked the veteran over Clark during a practice interview on Thursday.

“She’s (Mitchell) really just the MVP,” Boston said. “I think that’s just what she’s been doing. Every single night you see her come out and she drops I don’t even know how many points at this rate. She defends her butt off. … I’m really proud of her.”

Boston picking Mitchell over Clark left many annoyed with the center. However, Mitchell has been the better player this season and has led the Fever from the front.
