    Bills insider doesn’t hold back on HC Joe Brady instilling “looser mentality” at training camp

    The Buffalo Bills hired Joe Brady as their new coach in January after the team fired Sean McDermott. However, just a few days into the Bills’ training camp, analyst Alex Brasky has slammed into Brady, following some comments made by Buffalo takcle Alec Anderson.

    “Spotlighted by concerning remarks made by Alec Anderson, the looser mentality instilled by Joe Brady at Bills training camp is a disaster waiting to happen If BUF gets off to a rough start, the torches and pitchforks are going to come out quickly,” Brasky tweeted.

    On Thursday, Anderson made some interesting comments about Brady.

    “The vibe with Coach Brady is young and fresh I think,” Anderson said. “It’s kind of like having your uncle come over, and he’s a little bit younger than the older brother, and you know you’re just going to have a good time. He’s single, not that Joe Brady’s single, but you know you’re going to be able to go out, get some ice cream, really do stuff that your parents wouldn’t really allow you to do. I think that’s kind of the fun aspect that we’re going to have.”

    At 36, Brady is the youngest head coach in the NFL entering the 2026 season. He was hired by the Bills in 2022 as a quarterbacks coach, and also served as the offensive coordinator in the past two seasons.

    Joe Brady’s Bills are scheduled to play three preseason games before the 2026 regular season. Here’s a look at Buffalo’s preseason schedule:

    • Preseason Game 1: August 15 vs. Panthers, 1 p.m. ET
    • Preseason Game 2: August 22 at Browns, 4 p.m. ET
    • Preseason Game 3: August 27 vs. Steelers, 7 p.m. ET

    The last time the Bills didn’t make the playoffs was in the 2026 season. They fired McDermott because he wasn’t able to get the team to a Super Bowl.

    Brady will be under some pressure to deliver in his first year at the helm in Buffalo.
