    All new pals in Palworld 1.0 update and where to find them

    With the 1.0 update, Palworld is ready to step into a new era, having finally left early access. Naturally this includes new pals for you to use, with over 70 new pals arriving alongside the update. This includes a mix of completely new pals as well as variants. Additionally to prevent players from breaking the game, the more powerful pals cannot be acquired too early.

    So let us take a look at all the new pals that have arrived as part of the Palworld 1.0 update.


    Every new pal in Palworld 1.0

    1) Pupperai

    Type: Ground

    You can find Pupperai in the starting area when you load up Palworld after 1.0 update. It cannot be found on the World Map, which is only unlockable after defeating all of the tower bosses, but spawns both during the day and night in its location.

    2) Clovee

    Type: Grass/Neutral

    Just like Pupperai, Clovee can be found in the starting area of Palworld both during day and night. Also it cannot be found in the World Tree.

    3) Tanzee Ignis

    Type: Fire

    A Fire-type variant of base form Tanzee, players can encounter this pal fairly early on close to the starting area, both during the day and night. It does not spawn in the World Tree.

    4) Woolipop Terra

    Type: Ground

    Another new variant, Woolipop Terra is a Ground-type version of regular Woolipop. It can only be found on a single island in the entire game (day and night), and does not spawn on the World Tree.

    5) Amione

    Type: Water

    Amione is a new Water-type pal that can be always found in pairs. It does not spawn on the World Tree and can be found only in a few locations. One of those is close to the starting area, while the other is the new island archipelago introduced in the Palworld 1.0 update.

    6) Gloopie Primo

    Gloopie Primo is a new variant of Gloopie that can be found in the new islands (both daytime and nighttime) as well as on the World Tree.

    7) Wispaw

    Wispaw is a new Dark-type pal that spawns only at nighttime on the main map. However, it does spawn during the day and night on the World Tree.

    8) Univolt Cryst

    Univolt Cryst is an Ice-type variant of Univolt who is usually an Electric-type. You can only find it on the World Map after defeating the tower bosses.


    9) Muffly

    10) Puffolt

    A new Electric-type, Puffolt can be found not that far off from the starting region and in the new islands.

    11) Polapup Terra

    As its name suggests, Polapup Terra is a Ground-type variant of Polapup. You can find it on the small island on the west of the map.

    12) Elgrove

    Elgrove is a Grass-type pal that can be found around the areas close to where you begin your Palworld journey.

    13) Elgrove Cryst

    An Ice-type variant of Elgrove, we have our first variant introduced in the same patch as its original with Elgrove Cryst. However, Elgrove Cryst can only be found on the World Tree.


    14) Petallia Ignis

    Type: Grass/Fire

    Petallia Ignis adds a secondary Fire-type to the original Petallia’s Grass-type. It is also only available after you reach the World Tree.


    15) Leafan

    Leafan is a Grass-type pal that you have to travel quite a bit east from the starting area to find.

    16) Beakon Cryst

    As indicated by its name, Beakon Cryst is an Ice-type variant of the Electric-type Beakon. You can only encounter this pal in the World Tree.


    17) Rayhound Cryst

    Likewise Rayhound Cryst is an Ice-type variant of the Electric-type Rayhound. It can be found way up north around the base of the icy mountains.

    18) Needoll

    Needoll is a new Grass-type pal that can be found in the desert biome of Palworld on the north east. However, there’s also a Level 40 boss Needoll up for grabs on a small island not that far from the Palworld starting area.

    19) Needoll Noct

    There are two separate versions of Astralym available right now in Palworld. While we don’t know any details about these forms and where it can be found, all signs indicate that it will be a final boss for Palworld overall.
