Anna Jay and her tag partner Tay Melo scored a huge victory on the latest episode of AEW Collision. Now, the Tony Khan-led promotion has shared a massive announcement regarding The Queen Slayer and her teammate, who have a shot at the Women’s Tag Team Champions, The Divine Dominion.

Earlier this year, Lena Kross made her All Elite Wrestling debut and aligned herself with Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne. After the Superbad Girl got sidelined due to injury, the “Colossal” 31-year-old began teaming with The Megasus, forming a dominant duo called The Divine Dominion. They proved their mettle with a statement-making win over The Timeless Love Bombs, and crushed The Babes of Wrath at Revolution 2026 to become the new AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions.

After retaining their belts in their rematch against Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale, Bayne and Kross continued to dominate their competition in the company. They successfully defended their straps against Hyan and Maya World at Dynasty 2026, and later against former World Champions Kris Statlander and Hikaru Shida on Dynamite. Unimpressed with their weekly opposition, The Divine Dominion then launched a Five Minute Eliminator Challenge format, offering title shots to any tag team that could survive five minutes with them.

Since then, every duo that stepped up to Bayne and Kross has faced defeat under the stipulated time-limit, including Rachel Ley/Ruthie Slay, Allie Katch/Kaia McKenna, Elle Valentine/Kayla Lopez and Viva Van/Zayda Steel. Finally, this past weekend on AEW Collision, Anna Jay and Tay Melo successfully outlasted the five-minute clock against The Divine Dominion in an Eliminator bout, earning a shot at their World Tag Titles in the process. The company’s X/Twitter profile has now officially announced the match for this week’s episode of Collision.

“#AEWCollision 8ET/5PT Nationwide on TNT & HBO Max This Saturday, 6/6 [All Elite Wrestling] Women’s World Tag Team Title @MeganBayne / @Lena_Kross vs @annajay___ / @TayMelo TayJay took it to the champions & lasted the full 5 Minutes to earn their shot at Divine Dominion’s Championship, THIS SATURDAY!” – says the company’s tweet.

Another massive women’s match is scheduled for AEW Collision

The upcoming June 6 edition of Saturday Night Collision will air from the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, OH. The episode will witness the continuation of the 2026 Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup, as the reigning CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone takes on Hazuki in a quarterfinal round matchup.

The eventual winner of the tournament will earn a shot at the AEW Women’s World Title later this year at All In London 2026.
