AEW star Britt Baker posted a very heartfelt message on social media during her hiatus from the Jacksonville-based promotion. She hasn’t been seen in the company since November 2024. She was suddenly pulled from the show, and her absence was never explained. She recently reunited with Rebel as the latter is creating awareness for ALS. She was diagnosed with the disease a few months ago and has received immense love from the pro wrestling industry.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion teamed up with the 47-year-old star during the pandemic era. Initially, the latter was brought on as Dr D.M.D’s on-screen makeup artist, as the two had great chemistry. In honour of Rebel, Tony Khan has announced that AEW will hold a special show for her next month named Rebel Heart.
The two stars were seen together at ALS Nexus held in Orlando. Recently, Britt Baker took to X and claimed that she had a great experience at the event and was proud of Rebel during the show.
“What an incredible couple of days at ALS Nexus in Orlando. The strength, love, and sense of community in that room was something truly special. I don’t have the right words to explain how moving this event was to experience… but seeing so many awesome people come together to fight, advocate, educate, and remind everyone affected by ALS that they are never fighting alone. @RebelTanea was obviously the star of the show. She spoke at the conference and absolutely killed it! She is a rockstar in every way. ALS has definitely changed a lot, but it hasn’t touched the things that make Rebel…Rebel. She’s the toughest cookie I know with the same kick a** attitude she’s always had…. with the same hilarious sense of humor and ability to make everyone around her laugh. A Rebel heart,” she wrote.

On September 9, AEW is set to honour Rebel and her fight against ALS. As the former AEW Women’s World Champion had a huge impact on her career, many are expecting her to return.
According to Fightful.com, Britt Baker’s name was brought up during discussions of the Rebel Heart show.
It will be interesting to see what is next for Britt Baker.
