The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced a re-examination for 49 candidates who could not complete the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026 due to a power failure at an examination centre in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The re-examination will be held on September 1, at 10 am, at Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women, Jaipur.

Candidates qualify through the examination for admission to postgraduate AYUSH programmes offered by participating institutions. The examination was conducted on August 22 in a computer-based format.

According to the NTA, 36,979 candidates had registered for the examination. Of these, 35,837 candidates appeared for the test across 200 examination centres in the country. The examination was completed by 35,788 candidates.

The agency has also advised the affected candidates to follow the information provided in their revised admit cards and attend the re-examination at the designated centre.

The re-examination means that the affected candidates will get another opportunity to complete the entrance test. The NTA has not indicated any change in the examination for candidates who completed the test on August 22.
