A major AEW star shared his thoughts on Undisputed WWE Champion CM Punk and his brawl with Jack Perry at All In 2023. Punk was fired by All Elite Wrestling following the backstage incident with Perry at the event three years ago.
Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Will Ospreay revealed that he was backstage during CM Punk’s brawl with Jack Perry. The popular star shared that he thought the two stars were just cutting a promo with each other before he realized what had actually happened.

“I was going over the match in my head. I was sat there thinking to myself that I needed to get this right and this right, and I was making sure that everything was going on in my head. And I heard a commotion, and I thought they were cutting a promo. So, I got out of dodge, and I saw Punk walk past me, and it was like, ‘Oh no, I know exactly what is happening,'” he said.

CM Punk returned to WWE at Survivor Series 2023 and has been in the main event scene ever since. He lost the World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 42 before going on hiatus.
The Second City Saint returned last month on RAW and captured the Undisputed WWE Championship from Sami Zayn. Punk successfully defended the title against Kevin Owens this past Friday night on SmackDown after Sami Zayn got involved in the match. Zayn then attacked both Punk and Owens after ruining the title bout.

SmackDown star Kevin Owens opened up about his true feelings regarding CM Punk.
Speaking with Faces Magazine last week, The Prizefighter admitted that he didn’t get along with Punk and stated that the two stars were not compatible with each other.
“No. You know, some people, you’re just not compatible with, and he’s one of them. I’m sure he’d happily say the same, like, we don’t gel,” said Owens. (H/T: Faces Magazine)
