WWE veteran Natalya, aka Nattie, has lofty plans for her future in the Stamford-based promotion.
The 26-year veteran of the pro wrestling business has seen a lot over the years, and the experience has made her one of the most well-rounded stars in the WWE Women’s Division. Natalya is still active in the ring, and is frequently seen helping rising stars.
Thanks for the submission!
Speaking in a recent interview with Soundsphere Magazine, the WWE star talked about how she wanted to branch out to other roles in the Stamford-based promotion.
“Bully Ray, Bubba Dudley, he said to me, ‘Nattie, you’ve already paid your dues, why do you keep paying them?’ and I’m like, ‘because the rent’s always due’. There’s never going to be a moment as long as I’m actively wrestling that I’m not going to be paying my dues. I don’t want to just be a wrestler in WWE, I want to be everything. I want to be behind the camera. I want to be working with the girls, I want to be working with the guys. I want to be writing promos, directing, creating, producing. I see myself building stories far, far, far beyond what I’m doing in the ring,” Natalya said.
The WWE veteran recently named her dream match opponent
According to Natalya, if she could pick one opponent for a dream match, it would be her husband, Tyson Kidd.
Speaking in an interview with TheSportster’s Adam Barnard, the veteran talked about how Tyson Kidd was one of the smoothest athletes in the ring. She said:
“Tyson Kidd is one of the, if I could ever have like a- if I was allowed to pick anybody and we could do a big television match, he is like a wealth of ideas. He is smooth as butter, and what he could do in the ring was just, he’s magical. I would say Tyson Kidd.”
Currently, Natalya is working on bringing the best out of rising talent in the company. It remains to be seen what the future holds for her.
