A top AEW name called out The Undertaker on social media. The Phenom was one of the most terrifying stars in WWE for the past few decades. After giving his fans countless memories, he hung up his boots at WrestleMania 36. Despite retiring, he still makes occasional appearances on TV, pay-per-views and other major events. RJ City recently nominated him for a massive challenge.
The AEW personality has been an important figure backstage as he is one of the key writers of the Jacksonville-based promotion. He is known for roasting the Lord of Darkness every now and then. He recently proclaimed himself as the ‘Undertaker of AEW’.
RJ City recently participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Many AEW stars have completed the challenge in the past few weeks to support the beloved Rebel. Recently, the AEW writer took to Instagram and completed the challenge. Moreover, he nominated The Undertaker to compete in the challenge.
“ALS Ice Bucket Challenge – love you @rebeltanea. I nominate @undertaker,” he wrote.
RJ City reveals why he makes fun of The Undertaker
While speaking on the Midnight Special, RJ City said that he makes fun of The Undertaker because he believes the Phenom is a weird personality.
“I always make fun of The Undertaker because I’m a believer in punching up and he’s the most up guy. Legend, legacy, all this s**t. Also, a guy who deserves to be made fun of. I love doing it. There is a lot there. It’s fun for me. No one really does it. I do it and people seem to enjoy it. ‘Am I the only one making fun of him? This is weird. He’s weird. He’s a weird dead person,’ There is all this stuff there. I’ve been making fun of him for years in various ways. I was on somebody’s podcast, and offhand, I said he was weird. Whether it was the timing of me, where I am right now, where that podcast is, whatever. That was the headline,” he said.
It will be interesting to see if the Deadman accepts RJ’s challenge and completes the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
