Coca-Cola 600 winner Daniel Suarez and his wife Julia Piquet are celebrating every moment of their journey to parenthood. The couple has recently celebrated the upcoming arrival of their first child with a heartwarming baby shower, giving a glimpse into the special occasion through photos shared on Instagram.

The celebration featured close family and friends gathering to honour the couple as they prepare to welcome their baby later this year. The couple announced the pregnancy in April 2026.

Piquet’s Instagram story showcased cheerful decorations and also featured a picture of her with Suarez as they celebrated the milestone. Close friends and family members of theirs attended the baby shower.

Julia Piquet, the daughter of three-time F1 world champion Nelson Piquet, has been documenting parts of her pregnancy on Instagram, while Daniel Suarez has also shared his excitement about becoming a father and reposted the stories of the baby shower of his official social media handles.

Daniel Suarez recently on the Dirty Mo Media podcast revealed what he will do if the baby arrives on the race.

Speaking about how we will handle the situation, Suarez said that he doesn’t have a plan, but he will not miss the race if the birth coincides with the race day during the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.

“Honestly, I don’t have a plan. I don’t really have a plan. I know Julia don’t want me to miss a race, and obviously, we’re going to be on the playoffs. So, I can’t miss a race. Depends where we are, depends the time. Maybe if baby was coming Saturday, maybe missing a Saturday would be okay right now if he’s somewhere close, but not Sunday. Like Sunday, I’m not missing a race. I just can’t, you know, being in the playoffs, being so competitive with the team and we have just so many great teams that we’re building that I just can’t” Suarez said on Bless Your ‘Hardt.

The Spire Motorsports driver stands at 11th place in the NASCAR Cup Series points standings with a win, two top-five, and six top-10 finishes. He is finishing the race at an average finish of 14.7 this season.
