Roman Reigns is set to make his third WWE title defense against Seth Rollins at the SummerSlam 2026 premium live event. Apart from running the show as the World Heavyweight titleholder, The OTC is also focused on getting stronger as he is rebuilding The Bloodline.
With The Usos and Jacob Fatu in his corner, the faction is stronger than ever. However, things might get unexpectedly ugly at the Biggest Party of the Summer, and Tribal Chief might get backstabbed.
Thanks for the submission!
Rollins and Reigns’ World Heavyweight Championship match is more than a traditional title match, as WWE has been advertising it as the final chapter of the long-standing The Shield saga.
Most likely, Seth and Roman will end The Shield saga with a clean finish, as The OTC finally overcomes the Visionary by beating him at his own game. Two men could even share an emotional hug at the end. But every end brings a new start, and after retaining the title, the entire Bloodline could come out to celebrate with Reigns.
In a shocking turn of events, Jimmy Uso would superkick Roman Reigns, leaving Jey Uso no option but to take Jacob Fatu out from behind. Big Jim could then lift the World Heavyweight Championship above his head, making his intentions clear to capture the strap.
This would be a perfect moment, fueling massive interest on Monday Night RAW. Speculation about Jimmy Uso turning heel on Reigns has been circulating since his picture from the final RAW before SummerSlam went viral. Upon their arrival, Big Jim locked his eyes on the title and gave an evil smirk, which planted seeds of doubt in some fans about whether he could pull the trigger on The OTC.
Another major reason why The Usos may betray Roman Reigns is that Tribal Chief has been giving Jacob Fatu priority despite Fatu being disrespectful towards him.
That said, the angle proposed above is speculative, and nothing is confirmed as of now.
The Usos also have a match at WWE SummerSlam
The entire Bloodline is invested in heavy work for the Biggest Party of Summer, as Roman Reigns is not the only one booked in a match at WWE SummerSlam. Jey and Jimmy Uso, alongside Jacob Fatu, will clash against Solo Sikoa, Royce Keys, and LA Knight in a six-man tag team match.
That said, SummerSlam is indeed an important premium live event for the Bloodline faction. With the PLE merely days away, it will be interesting to see what plans Triple H and his WWE creative have in store for Reigns and his stable in the coming weeks.
