    Mercedes Mone officially confirms the name of her new AEW faction

    Mercedes Moné recently allied with two popular AEW stars, and now she has named their new faction.

    After a near six-month hiatus, Mercedes Moné returned to AEW in June as a wild-card entry in the Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament. She went on to win the tournament by defeating Maya World in the finals at Forbidden Door 2026. The win earned her the opportunity to challenge for the AEW Women’s Championship at All In 2026 at Wembley Stadium in London. The CEO will face reigning champion Willow Nightingale that night.

    At some point while carving her path to All In, Mone befriended Megan Bayne and Lena Kross (the Divine Dominion), who appeared to have joined forces with the CEO. A few weeks ago, the reigning Women’s Tag Team champions even teamed up with Mone to defeat Maya, World, Hyan, and Willow Nightingale in trios action on Dynamite. It seems a new faction has formed involving the Dominion and Mercedes Moné. The CEO all but confirmed it by revealing the trio’s new name on X earlier today.

    “Divine Moné 👸🏻🤑🪽,” Mone wrote.

    Mercedes Moné says AEW President Tony Khan is the “best boss” ever

    Mercedes Moné has worked in promotions around the globe, but in a TV Insider interview last year, the CEO made it clear that she does not look past Tony Khan when it comes to her favorite boss. Mone said that she and Khan share the same love and passion for wrestling.

    “Tony Khan is the best boss I’ve had in my whole life. I love working with him. I love working for him. It has been so positive just to be around him. He brings such an energy that I’ve never experienced from a boss before. I don’t know, he makes you so happy even before you go out to the ring. He is just so energetic and passionate about wrestling. I love wrestling, and he does. So, it’s the best working with someone who loves it just as much as you do,” she said.

    It will be interesting to see if Mercedes Moné will finally become the AEW Women’s Champion at All In 2026.
